Now when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at ^[i]the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a ^[j]grievous ^[k]mourning for the Egyptians.” Therefore it was named ^[l]Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.
