Israel In Conflict

Since long before declaring the independent State of Israel in May, 1948, the tiny nation of Israel has been continually locked in an ongoing battle against virtually every nation on earth for her very existence. Not even the United States of America, supposedly a “Christian” nation loyal to the God of Israel, will take a stand to unequivocally support Israel in her struggle. HaShem will most assuredly hold this nation accountable for our lack of support for the “Apple of God’s Eye.” (Zech. 2:8)

20 Facts About Israel

These 20 facts will help serve as a primer for those trying to understand the historical context of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

An Open Letter to the “President”

Dear Mr. “President,” As you are certainly most painfully aware, the State of Israel is presently under siege by terrorists from within and by the constant threat of invasion from all of its neighbors. Those who are actively threatening the existence of the Israeli state have made it perfectly clear that there will be no peace in the Middle East as long as there are any children of Jacob living anywhere within the region — that the goal from which there can be no compromise is nothing less than the total destruction of the State of Israel and the removal of all Jews from the Middle East. The openly-stated goal of the Islamic world is precisely the same as that of Nazi Germany — the “Final Solution” to the world’s problems is the elimination of the Jews. Why cannot we as a nation force ourselves to believe that they mean exactly what they say? READ IT ]

A Warning from HaShem to America’s Foreign Policy Makers

Mr. President, Mr. Secretary of State, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Congress of the United States of America: when you turn your backs on Yisra'el, please understand against Whom it is that you are taking your stand! Do not be deceived. The children of Yishma'el will never rest until the children of Yitzchak are driven off the face of the earth, and the God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov has said that will never happen. There can therefore never be peace in the Middle East until Messiah sets up His kingdom on earth. It is a gross mistake to believe that by taking Israel’s Covenant Land away from them and giving it to the “Palestinians” will alleviate the tensions in the slightest degree. MORE ]

Twenty Facts about Israel and the Middle East

William Bennett, Jack Kemp, and Jeane Kirkpatrick recently provided these facts for our consideration. From the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

The world's attention has been focused on the Middle East. We are confronted daily with scenes of carnage and destruction. Can we understand such violence? Yes, but only if we come to the situation with a solid grounding in the facts of the matter-facts that too often are forgotten, if ever they were learned. Below are twenty facts that we think are useful in understanding the current situation, how we arrived here, and how we might eventually arrive at a solution.MORE ]

Myths & Facts Online

A Guide to the Arab-Israeli Conflict, By Mitchell G. Bard. From the Jewish Virtual Library.

Myths about the Middle East did not originate in the 1950's, nor have they ceased to be promulgated. The tumultuous events in the region seem to be consistently accompanied by all new distortions of the facts about the Arab-Israeli conflict. Mitchell Bard and Joel Himelfarb edited the last edition of Myths and Facts in 1992. A great deal has happened since then, so, with Near East Research's permission, and by popular demand, AICE produced an updated version of this classic text. This version has the advantage of being hyperlinked to the vast resources available in our Jewish Virtual Library and is constantly updated as new events occur.MORE ]
