The Book of Customs: A Complete Handbook to the Jewish Year By Scott-Martin Kosofsky / HarperOne All sources point to Rabbi Isaac of Tyrnau, Hungary, as the author of this late 14th century illustrated book of Jewish customs and practices. For nearly four centuries, elaborate editions, mostly in Yiddish, were created from Venice to Amsterdam to Kiev. Mysteriously, the book and its various editions disappeared by the end of the 19the century. The book has not been available for over a century and has never been translated into English. Award-winning book designer Scott-Martin Kosofsky discovered some of the original woodcut illustrations, celebrated artifacts that appear in libraries at both Oxford and Yale Universities. As he dug deeper, Kosofsky realized the significance of his discovery. This book is a stunning portrait of Jewish customs over the last four centuries. Created by a master typographer and designer, this elegant testament to the endurance of Jewish traditions is intended for contemporary daily use while offering a remarkable look into the rich history of Jewish life. World-class, centuries old, museum quality wood cuts combined with the wealth of history will make this first-ever English translation a must-have collector's item for every Jewish family. |

The Feasts of the Lord By Kevin Howard / Thomas Nelson Written with Christian and Jewish audiences in mind, The Feasts of the Lord takes the reader through all the holy days of Israel. These ancient celebrations come alive as they are enhanced with over one hundred and fifty full-color charts, photographs and paintings. As the history of the Judean holy days is revealed, the Jewish customs that serve as the most foundational facts of Christianity are brought to light. As Rosenthal and Howard strive to create a fresh understanding, these traditions are weighed in the light of God's Word to reveal the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. About the Authors: Kevin Howard is an ordained minister with unique insight into Jewish culture and the Hebrew language as a result of his involvement in the synagogue, the Jewish community, and his trips to Israel. He spent six years as an administrator and Bible teacher with The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc, a world-wide missionary organization to the Jewish people. Marvin Rosenthal was born and raised in a conservative Jewish home and then became a Christian as a teenage by following the godly example of his mother. He served in the pastorate for six years, before serving The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc. as a director for sixteen years. |

Its requirements included that the land lie fallow, all debts be forgiven, captives be freed, and a celebration held. Maria Harris considers the implications of a living Jubilee for today and for the next century. She offers a compelling argument that a living Jubilee is a comprehensive spirituality that would have a positive political, economic, and moral impact on individuals, families, religious congregations, institutions, and nations. |

Shalom!
I am an Israeli textile artist, living and creating in the Jerusalem area. I have worked in silk painting for over 15 years. Enclosed you will find some examples of my work. All my work is my own original handcrafted items, and is inspired by the unique spirit and soul of Jerusalem.
Each piece of work is one of a kind and is painted on pure silk with great care precision and love.
During the last year I have designed special banners for Davidic dancing. I also create: silk scarves, purses, ties (with special designs: Jerusalem, dove of peace, harp, messianic symbol); women’s Tallitot (prayer shawls); Challa/Matza covers and clothing (shirts, dresses, skirts, vests). I had took a part in some messianic conferences in the USA, as well as in the international conference of the Christian Embassy in the “feast of Tabernacle” in Jerusalem.
I ask your assistance in recommending my items and offering them for purchase by your members and through your organization or congregation. I include some samples of my work for your impression. All items can be ordered in different colors and various design by request. Perhaps your ministry or organization will be interested in purchasing my creations or presenting them in your website.
